We can pretty much bank on the Clippers no matter if Korlev comes here or not, getting at least ONE more player on the roster, but most likely 2.

Unless something happens to tabuse, they are definately set at PG.

Last year they ran with 6 big men on the roster. This year they have 4. Its safe to say they will add another big man. However, it seems as if unless they get an incredibly good deal on someone who is worth way more, they do not want to pay 1.1 million or so for someone who will be riding the bench, because if they did, they would have paid mikki that. So, what centers/power forwards out there, whose minimum salary would be less than a million would you want? Me id love to pry ha seung jin from portland, but theres no way both of my dream free agents (him and tabuse) are going to be here. Other possiblities i guess would be obina ekezie, torraye braggs, a rocket last year, and former globe trotter, wang zhi zhi is out there, jabari smith, and im sure there are plenty other n'diyaye types they could pick up.

The question is, if they pick up korolev as we expect, do they still get another wing player for insurance? i say its 50/50. Either way, who would you want? Kapono and Jacobson are two local guys we could consider. Perhaps matt barnes could come back. felipe lopez has been mentioned. No one is showing interst in kerry kittles. If he had a miraculous recovery, and his carrer isnt over as expected, i would definately throw a million his way...this player woudlnt get much playing time anyway, but a healthy kittles is better than ANYONE else out there that would come for the minimum;

Gerald Wallace would be a terrible fit. He basically duplicates Maggette's game to a lesser accent, i.e no jumpshot and relies heavily on forced penetration to the rim. Explosive dunker etc.. Plus i heard a rumour he is resigning with the cats for 1 year and will then be unrestricted next year. He wants more money - therefore he wont be in a clipper uni anytime soon.
I think a pure shooter in the mold of piatkowski would be very nice, a sg/sf that subs in for 6mins a night and hits a three or two... Kapono would be great - Jacobson even better although he struggled last year. The other roster spot should definetly go to a C.

no viable choice for center comes to mind at this point...but at sf definitely kapono or barnes or jacobson...wouldn't hesitate on kittles provided he got a clean bill of health

I wish the Clippers would have brought Earl Barron to there summer league team. That guy played very well for the Heat this summer and I think they signed him.

I think the clippers should go for a center first. SG/SF only if they can get kapono or jacobson for a steal. Theyve got 13 players signed now, with decent mixture. 4 PGs, 4 Big men, and 5 Wings.
