06 Expectations
What are you guys expecting from The Clippers this year? I would like to see them go to the playoffs, aside from that, 45 wins sounds cool tool, and Elton or Corey at the All-Star game (Elton already deserved it last year, and hopefully Corey will reach a new level this year).

Firstly welcome to the site!
I think the Clippers with either make the 8th seed or just miss out. 45 wins sounds about rihg I don't think any Clipper will make the All-Stars this year since a lot of the scoring with be shared by the starters. Unless the Clippers have a really good record before the All-Star break then there might be a chance.

Glad to be here!
Come on though: EB deserved to be an All-Star last year, not just because of the scoring, but because of his consistency. As talented as I think Amare Stoudamire is, his numbers dropped down significantly when Nash was injured, EB was good no matter who was on the floor with him, and he always holds the other team's PF below his average.

I do feel that Brand is an All-Star, I just believe that the Clippers need to show something great in order to get past the old sterotype in order for the coaches and fans to vote a Clipper player in.

Re: 06 Expectations
Yeah, that makes sense. Hopefully he'll get recognized for all his hard work though, people should know more about Elton Brand.

Re: 06 Expectations
i just want them to be the 8 seed. Come on, the clippers have everyone on the bandwaggon, time to take advantage.

I'll take that too, but I worry though about that whole bandwagon thing, lest the "laker fans" suddenly start showing up at Clippers games, just like all of a sudden there's all these "USC fans" at their football games. Will that be the price of their success too?
