Re: Where to place Korolev?

Someone already said it but we are extremely thin at the 3 spot. We have to give Korolev a chance to play. I think Singleton is going to be a good asset but he is a completely different player than Korolev.Singleton is going to be our garbage man. From what I heard and seen he is more of a hustling type player. Korolev is more of a finesse player and may be able to give us some instant offense off the bench. I dont think we help buyout his contract to send him to the D-League immediately. However, we shouldnt rule out sending him to the D-League during the season if he looks totally out of his element.

This can be said on every single HS player coming to the league. Would you have put Livingston in the D-league if that would've been possible because the kid had been dominating crappy players? Or would you have give him a chance to prove himself? Korolev is pretty much the best euro in his age group and you don't have a backup SF so why not give him 10-15 mins a game? If it doesn't work then send him to D-league and get more familiar with American way of basketball.
