Any Season Ticket Holders?

I am about to buy season tickets for section 209. I am worried that if im not able to attend a game the tickets will be hard to sell. Have any of you tried selling your tickets, and if so did you at least get the face value? Thanks

Re: Any Season Ticket Holders?

I was thinking of putting them up on ebay, just wondering if they would sell. The face value is 60 bucks. I can't wait for this year to start. I can feel it, barring any injuries, the playoffs are in our future.

Or you can use the new feature they have for season ticket holders on Clippers.com and Ticketmaster..You tell them the games you cannot attend and they will sell them for you of course you wont get all of your money back but its better then not getting any at all.

I have season tickets in the same area. Last season I went to almost all the games, but when I couldn't go I mainly just let my friends, family, co-workers know that I have them available. Usually, my tickets sold easy. I'm looking at using stubhub.com for some of the big name games.

Price wise, it all depends on who you are marketing to, ebayers usually want to pay less than retail. I suggest you post them early to sell.

To all you Clipper fans, if you weren't able to get tickets on ticketmaster, I'm willing to part with some of my tickets for less than retail, let me know.

Re: Any Season Ticket Holders?

I had season tix last year and sold about half. It all depended on the game in question when I was selling them. Big name opponents will of course get you the most money. Lousy teams will usually bring less than you paid for the season tickets yourself. Ebay seemed the best place for me. Make a very nice add and point out if the seats are close to the VIP section or have a good view. I made the most money right before Christmas, keep this in mind. A lot of my tickets sold to people that were having holiday parties and wanted to use them in raffles.
