Vladmir working out so far?
Wilcox has been great for us! he's been averaging like 14 ppg, 8 rpg last 5 games or something.
but im also guessing many many clipper fans are happy seeing vladimir in your uniforms. i saw his stats his past few games and they've been pretty darn impressive. 19 pts against the lakers? minus that airball 3 that was a great game. but i still gotta thank u for wilcox i mean we get a PF of the future with huge athleticism and all u guys get is a 3-point specialist.. what do u guys think of this deal?
also has vladimir affected your d in any way? has it gotten worse with him playing 30-35 mpg? i always considered him a below-average defensive PF.

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
Actually Radman is better for us than Wilcox, not as much of an improvement as Wilcox is to you guys, but he's still better.
In either case, both teams got better with the trade, so it really doesn't matter, right now it does look like the Sonics are getting an awesome deal.
For us, Wilcox was crap, so all the best to him as he plays for you guys.

Actually his defense against Odom the other not was impressive, he stayed in front of him, which a lot of PF have trouble with when Lamar is attacking the rim.

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
Also the Sonics better get ready to match a huge contract that Wilcox will surely get now that he is playing well with a lot of minutes. I see some team starving for a big man such as the Nets offering him a $50 million contract.

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
Vlad simply fits Mike D's system better than Wilcox. All of us new Wilcox was going to do well once he got consistent minutes. If I was in Seatte's position I hope doesnt play too well in the 2nd half of the season. The better he plays guarantees him a big money contract.

I want Radman to do well with the Clippers, and I'd love to see the Clips go deep into the playoffs.

Huh? We don't want him back. He's a good player, but we just don't have a need for him.

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
thats what i thought. and even though WTchan doesnt want it to be, i pretty much guarantee the sonics FO will have him in a sonics uniform next year.

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
Vlad is working out great for the Clippers, he's added a 3-point spot up shooter that we haven't had in years (Clips have the lowest amount of 3 pointers in the league). And hasn't seemed to have hurt our defense at all really. Cassell, Mobley and Maggette all had a reputation for being bad defensively, but somehow it all works out defensively, we're one of the Top defensive teams in the league.
I'm glad that Wilcox is doing well for the Sonics, he had a lot of potential, but simply was not as good as Kaman/Z or Brand... it made no sense for the Clippers to keep him.
This really is the best kind of trade though, both teams are getting exactly what they hoped for and hopefully you Sonics fans will realize it's actually a good thing when neither team gets ripped off.

Uh yeah, he hasn't signed an extension for next year, so why should he be sure?

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
haha yea, but i would have thought for the first 10 games with that much success, he would have given at least an ounce of faith to the clippers. i think he said clips are on the top of his list just for the media

Re: Vladmir working out so far?
yeah i dont think he will re-sign....neither will Chris Kaman
but who knows....i would really like to keep Vlad, has anyone noticed the team has
been shooting more 3s since we got him
and i know it sucks when they dont go in, but how will we know if they will go in or not if WE DONT
SHOOT THEM!!!!
now that we seem to be shooting more 3s too, i say we just need better rebounding and Vlade
has brought that somewha ttoo
im happier with Vlade than with WIlcox
I just hope we stay consistent.....
enough of these big losing streaks, and then small winning streaks......
lets just win DAMNIT!!!!!
