To put into perspective how we look on paper now..
Basically, once next week comes around, we will have:
1. Lost Wilcox, but gained Rebraca back (many consider rebraca the superior player) for the 4/5.
2. Gained McCarty as an actual contributor (probably wont get much playing time once Maggs and ross come back, but still good to be able to count on)
3. Gained Radmanovic basically for nothing (if you consider the Wilcox/Rebraca swap), meaning once maggs starts again, we will lose no offense when he goes out of the game.
On paper we are really incredible now, its just a matter of living up to the expectations. How many teams in the NBA have a 4/5 combo of: Brand, Kaman, Rebraca, and (a contributing) McCarty? Not to mention bench warmers like Singleton and Baker.
How many teams in the NBA have a 2/3 Combo of Mobley, maggette, Radman, Ross, Livingston, With Ewing/Korolev on the bench?
How many teams in the NBA have a 1/2 Combo of Cassell/Mobley/Livingston/Ross?
We seem to have a "complete" team now. Weve got a great balance for the first time of low post scorers/defenders in Brand, Kaman, and the guys off of the bench. Weve got 3 point shooting now from 3 different people. Weve got clutch players in cassell, mobley, and brand is becoming more clutch now. Weve got deffensive specialists who arent total duds on offense anymore in Mccarty and Ross, and even livingston is stepping up with defense lately. Weve got ball handlers in Cassell, Livvy, Mobley. Were going to have the slashing of maggete back, plus the occasional slashing from radman.
Do we have the best lineup in the NBA? no, probably not. But when everyone is healthy, its hard to find a hole in this lineup.
