Hi Clipper fans, great season so far. Im just curious, how is it to be in the shadow of the lakers. It must suck going to the Staples Center and seeing all the laker banners.
I never see the banners when I go. What's the reason? I go to actually watch the game, the present and future in front of me as opposed to the past. If I wanted to look at some historic accomplishments, I'd just waste no money and go to the Getty Museum and look at art.
As far as the Laker fans go, most of the ones I know are being extremelly quiet whenver I bring up basketball, or they've hopped wagons.
I don't think it's too bad. I don't hate the Lakers, and have cheered for them in the past. They have a proud history and have accomplished many great things. It's the current Laker team that I hate
Seriously, though, I have always preferred underdogs, and I'm happy that the Clippers are now slowly but surely breaking out from behind the Lakers' shadow.

Yeah, i can't really say too many bad things about those title years, they were legitmately good teams, this Kobe-centric Laker team has really made me hate them though, whereas before they were one of the more likeable teams in the league.
