The Draft approaches

3 Days to go.

Who do you want the Clippers to draft?

Who would you hate to see the Clippers draft?

Go!

Re: The Draft approaches

well if boone or paul davis drops to the our 1st pick that would be a great pick up or if shannon brown drops. I really think hassan adams or allan ray would be a good fit. With the second pick i would like to see taj gray this kid is fast, great court vision, and a good rebounder.

Re: The Draft approaches

I like the idea of Diaz, Vinicius, Balkman, Freeland, or Powe/Eric Williams (I like Powe, but Williams has a health and defensive edge IMO) at the first 2nd, and Halperin, Caner-Medly, Eliyahu, Hicks, Barea, Markota or Keirou at the second one.

Re: The Draft approaches

Ooo I cannot wait. Quincy Douby PLEASE I see him going at 24 with Memphis in a lot of places but if he fell to 34 I'd go insane. And if we didn't draft I'd be even angrier...

2nd Pick: POPS Please. Wow I love his name. Who cares if he can play.

I would hate to see us pick Joel Freeland. Seriously? Like Big whitey boy who shoots threes and has played for three years in lower grade Italy. Doesn't sound overly special...

Re: The Draft approaches

I would like them to take a SG like Douby or Shannon Brown to back up Mobley and a big. I would hate for the Clippers to draft ANY Euro player, especially with the news about Sofo.

Re: The Draft approaches

Ill be happy as long as we dont pick up another chalmers. I want one big guy from college with the first pick: Pittsnoogle, Paul Davis, Justin williams etc., and with the second pick, i want a foreign guy that we can stash in the euro leagues for a few years until we need him a la markinho, or someone else who drops. Problem is there arent that many euro 2nd rounders this year. Freeland if he drops, halperin, markota, veremenko, etc.

Re: The Draft approaches

Pops Mensah Bonsu with the second pick or Leon Powe/Kosta Perovic.

Kevin Pitsnoogle or Mike Gansey with the first one

Re: The Draft approaches

I was dissapointed with Pops measurements.

Powe i knew he was short, but i like his game better...i think he has better reach too than pops.

But compare the name... which one has more of a humour value??

I think you'll find it's the one who sounds like a skateboarding move.

Re: The Draft approaches

Yes, I would like to have the pop-shove-it on our team.
Then we can get Kevin Ollie and become the all-time skater team.

OT: Tony Hawk is buying the Clippers plans on making Korolev the next world-skate-champion...

Re: The Draft approaches

I'd love to see us draft Freeland or Pops so that England can get some representation ... I'd probably even buy a Freeland jersey.

Re: The Draft approaches

Baylor doesnt like Freeland according to a guy on another board that met him....but Dunleavy might

Also on NBA Insider today, it said Suns were interested in him and theres a chance they will draft him with their later 1st round pick....

I like Diaz, Quincy, James "Flight" White, and Dee Brown

That quote by baylor almost makes it more possible to me that he might like him. you know how GM's are and their smokescreens.
