obviously there will be some changes in clipper land this summer.

layden wants to get rid of the knicks pick. the knicks have the 9th, 31st, and 38th picks. i imagine ward, knight, thomas, spreewell, and salary filler could be involved. if the knicks wanted to concentrate on odom, miller, and brand could they get any of those players with a package centered around the 9th pick???

Brand and Odom would not being do-able, but Miller would.

The Knicks could offer Charlie Ward, #9 for Miller, although depending on what Miller signs to, Wang and Harrington might need to be added.

I like that trade. I would not trade Brand and Odom though. With the #9 pick I would be looking at Kaman. If i were both teams i'd do it.

Knicks fan here, I also like #9 and Ward for Miller. He is still young, and can run a decent offense. Everybody wanted stats in Clipperland, so there was not a fluid offense(I'm not trying to say NY has anything fluid right now either). This would make Milos Vujanics rights expendable for some trade bait also. Possibly can rid Spree of NY.
The Clips get another lotto pick and can buy out Ward for $2M. The Clips owner has to start shelling out some cash, talent comes in and out of that place, but never seem to stay together to form a playoff run.

it would be nice for the knicks to get a young talented player at any position. they still have the 31 and 38 so they could grab a project like villanueva and hope he can start for them at the 3 or maybe 4 in 3 years. if im layden i pull the trigger for andre miller. vujanic could be packaged with thomas and or spree for a legit big man maybe...

The clips DO NOT NEED MORE DRAFT PICKS!!!! They need key players that have already proven themselves. Enough with the cleaning of the slate and starting over from scratch. Just re-sign Brand and Odom - and focus on acquiring an effective PG. Too bad Andre didn't work out
