Whats wrong with Hollingers quote? He isn't saying "its the clippers" or anything, he's got valid points, getting 25/12 from Brand again would be great, but it's also very possible he'll drop a little after a long summer, very few PFs have ever really gotten higher than 25/12...

Cassell is like 38(?), and Livingston's shot is an unknown at best right now, it's looked better in the preseason, but it's still the preseason we're talking about. And with everyone demanding that Maggette get traded/benched or he'll get injured, you can't expect his usual 20/5 production.

That said, i think the Suns are even more overrated and their season hinges on an injured Amare and slightly younger (but more beat up) Steve Nash... the Clips will probably win the division, but this team still has a lot of potential holes.

I read those ratings earlier but I have a question: What the new rules when it comes to playing seedings? From what I recall 3 teams with the best records will have 1-3 seeds but than I read about the ratings the Nuggets will have 4th seed because they most likely win there division. Now if the Nuggets have the 4th seed and Clippers the 5th as predicted who will have homecourt if the Clippers have the better record overall?

I think homecourt still goes to the team with the better record, so if the clippers finish with the 4th best record and ended up with 5th seeding, they'd still play with LA homecourt.

Hollinger may have points, but the points he has requires everything negative to happen. Hollinger is a pessimist who's got no crystal ball.

the main thing i didn't agree with, is the fact that hollinger has the clippers as the 8th seed...
