Could the Clipps pull this off?:

1. Trade Corey Maggette to Washington for their 2003 1st Pick and Etan Thomas.
2. Trade Etan Thomas to Orlando for the 1st Pick owed to them, their 2003 1st Pick via Sacramento, Jerryl Sasser.
3. Trade Chris Wilcox and Jerryl Sasser to Cleveland for DeSagana Diop and Rick Davis (who is definiately out of Cleveland).
4. Trade Ricky Davis to Chicago for their 2003 1st Pick and Jamal Crawford (and maybe a future 2nd Pick, if it's not pushing it).
5. Trade Jamal Crawford (and the possible future 2nd from the Bulls) to Utah for their 2003 1st and a filler that slightly hurts their team, like Rusty Larue or John Crotty.
6. sign Wil Avery, extend Odom,Brand,Kandi to 7 year 60,63,80 million dollar contracts.
7. in the 2003 Draft trade Miles,Q, and the 2 highest 1st picks (and the Sac pick if necessary) for Lebron James. And use the remaining 2 first rounders on Mickael Pietrus at the lowest remaining one and the BPA at the higher of the remaining 2. and then the 2nd rounder for a backup G or SF (maybe Florent Pietrus).
8. and then in the 2004 Draft trade Kandi for Sophocles Schortsianitis and a cap filler.

this is actually do-able (surprisingly enough) and gives a 2004 roster of:
PG Jaric Dooling Avery
SG James Pietrus Pitkowski
SF Odom Fowlkes Pietrus (?)
PF Brand Ely
C Diop Schortsianitis
with 2 roster spots for the BPA drafted and a veteran filler.

that would be cool... it could happen the Clipps just need to talk around....like with Ricky Davis, Krause is interested only because the Nugz are, but he would be willing to give up his pick next year and Crawford is realatively irrelevant so it all COULD work when you think about it.

This is unrealistic. You are talking about trading players you don't even have....

The Clipps might not have Ricky Davis, but no team will make Ricky an offer because Cleveland will match it, the Cavs are just looking for the best sign and trade they can get and Wilcox and Sasser is pretty good for Davis and Diop, because Wilcox fills the only hole left in that lineup...so it all kind of makes sense.

i dunno about 1) Maggette to washington
they have Rip and now Larry Hughes (thou probably brought into try to play point is still a SG) and Juan Dixon (Still a rookie)
Last time i checked didn't they need one really good big man instead of 3 growing ones?

Davis (in a sign and trade) to Chicago for Crawford and a 1st? I don't think so. Also, many of the trades will likely not work for cap reasons.

all of them work cap wise except for Davis to Chiacago which is remedied by sticking in Oakley's butout.... and MJ said that he wanted Maggette to start at SF not SG, in any case Rip played SF a lot this year, but that would give the Wiz a lineup of Hughes,Rip, Maggette,Jahidi White, and Brown or Jefferies...in the EC Jefferies will be a PF because he lacks quickness and has bulked up, but MJ knows that and that's why he want Maggette and maybe he intends to play Kwame as their future center.

I wouldn't give up Craw for Davis, If the bulls want Davis they'd go after him in FA. No way would this happen

A big part of the reason why this trade would not work is that a player that is traded for can not be traded again for a specific time period.
