The Clippers are expected to sign Guillermo Diaz, a guard with the Anaheim Aresenal, Tuesday to a 10-day contract. Diaz, however, could be waived on Wednesday if Frahm clears waivers and is signed to a 10-day contract.

What the hell. If I was Diaz, I'd say no to the contract, same with Frahm.
Does the Clippers FO really think they can play around with these players and their contracts

I don't think either mind at all. In one day signed Diaz probably will make more than spending the year in the D-league. As for Frahm looks like he wants to stay and it is not like he has many other options at this point.

funny, ive always said diaz we should have kept on the roster instead of signing 2 journeyman pgs (we would have been fine with one).

man could we have used eddie house this year. nothing wrong with him. Were talking 2nd or 3rd string PG, if diaz can be anything that house is/was that would be great.

The Los Angeles Clippers signed guard Guillermo Diaz to a 10-day contract today prior to the start of practice. Diaz joins the Clippers from the NBA Development League’s Anaheim Arsenal and is the league’s ninth GATORADE Call-up.

Dunleavy said Diaz would stay throughout his 10-day contract, which serves as bad news for Frahm, who hoped to be signed to a 10-day contract once he cleared waivers Wednesday. Dunleavy and Olshey said Frahm filled his role well, but the injury to Knight required the Clippers to solidify their point guard corps.

Re: Diaz to be signed Tuesday and possibly waived on Wednesday?
yeah. otherwise, no point to sign diaz for a day. mobley could have been the emergency PG. There are teams this year like sacramento and washington who had zero PG's on the active roster, and they managed, werent panicking signing people to 1 day contracts.
Decent move by the clippers. I doubt diaz sees much if any PT, but im much happier with this kind of a move, than picking up a randy livingston or doug overton.
