Re: GT: Clippers vs. Mavs 1/12
Called it. ****ing called it. Oh well, too many injuries. A nice week for the Clips although they went 0-3, they took it to the wire against three very nice teams in the Spurs, Magic and now the Mavs. I'm content with how the team is playing right now, not much more you can ask from them when they are so shorthanded.

Typical Clippers. How the hell did I know that was gonna happen? As Denny Green would say, "They are who we thought they were and we let em off the hook!"

had such a great game too
but it doesnt matter if they just lost the game
damn this is eerie, reminiscent of some of the worst years of the Clippers were they would lose in the last second tons of times, or at the buzzer
and this either helps the Clippers win a couple games in a row and turn it around somewhat
or they go on a stretch even worse than they are in now that they will not recover from
instead of winning 1 after losing 5, it is possible they go in several different 10 game losing streaks or something
the next game is the biggest of the season , one of the best teams in the league.....they either blow us out or we fight back after this game and nudge out a victory ....the next couple games get no easier so this can get ugly!!!!

me too although i was hoping i was wrong hahaha
reminds me of the time the Clippers scored to go ahead of the Kings once, by 1 point, and i was like "nooo why did you leave seconds on the clock"
so i go next door to tell my brother "look turn to fox sports net, the Clippers are going to lose at the buzzer"
the Kings inbound the ball and MIke Bibby hits a game winner
let see what happens next game, and damn if the clippers dont do anything at the trade deadline i am going to get pissed

Re: GT: Clippers vs. Mavs 1/12
I don't get why people would be pissed off. Would I have liked a win? No doubt, no doubt. But what more can we ask from these guys? It's not like we have a team of young guys hungry to win, we have a bunch of vets and Kaman/Powell/Thornton. I'm content with what our guys did this week, taking 3 top tier teams down to the 4th quarter.
I'm praying we can keep this team together and be able to extend Elton, Q and Maggs this offseason and go from there

Re: GT: Clippers vs. Mavs 1/12
Go figure the Clippers shoot above 50% for the first time the entire year and they lose. The Clippers played great the entire game but one bad decision wiped that all away in an instant.

i for one am not really pissed off, id be mad if we lost by 30 or 20, then i would furious but i mean the team hung in there and you cant really ask for more being that we have such a crappy roster for the most part
and id like to see Q get extended for a couple mil, elton a little bit more prob than what he is making now , id actually like to get rid of Maggette this moment and i hope he doesnt make it to this off season with us.....but if elTon or Q ask for too much then i wouldnt mind getting rid of all 3 of those guys and finding a SG that can score when we need a hoop, a good finisher...this is what we need...like a generic version of Kobe atleast

Re: GT: Clippers vs. Mavs 1/12
I wouldn't mind seeing Corey gone either, but if he can get it through his head that he'd be better suited playing the Manu role and coming off the bench, I'd keep him for cheap. Plus, Sterling loves him
