The last time the two met the Nets looked real bad. Looks like they are doing a little better since then but still they aren't all there. The Clippers must be pleased to a team like the Nets after the recent death schedule.
Why the hell do you take Al Thornton out of the game to put Thomas in with 2.9 seconds left in regulation? Thornton is 5-6 FG for 15 points in the second half, meanwhile Thomas is 4-13 for the game. Of course, Thomas misses the potential game winner.

Kaman was so close to the triple double, 1 block away. He had a bad offensive game but damn 9 blocks, the one on Williams was fantastic. When is the last time a Clipper had a triple double anyway? Thornton was absolutely fantastic, he took Carter several times and made him look like a rookie on defense. Great showing by him and an amazing shot at the end of the 3rd. Maggette did it all, played great offensively and had some nice steals as well, great game for him. Cassell did well too. The game was relatively bland for the first 3 quarters but the 4th and OT were great to watch.
and at times Als shot, and fadeaways look odd, like maybe he released them wrong, but they go in perfectly nothing but net
today Al made me assured me i will have a favorite Clipper for years to come

Don't count on it --- not as long as Dun is in charge. He may decide to sit him for the rest of the season without cause. Didn't he take the kid out of the came with 2.9 seconds left in regulation, AFTER an awesome game? Well ... that kind of mental torture is what happened to Wilcox and others, in fact the team. So don't count on Al being around too long. Enjoy him this year, because next year the way Dunleavy plays with players, he may rebel and be traded.
