he's not exactly forcing a lot of shots to pad his stats, and increasing 3pt% over 40% isn't something you just "do" to get a contract. besides, everyone & their momma expected him to have a career year with brand gone.

he's being more efficient than ever & increasing his shooting range, he's been improving these things every year & never been the type of player to just "phone it in", if he'd be (somehow) willing to stick around for the same 8-9 million, i say we do it.

Most of the teams that would want a guy at his age are already capped out (and would need a s&t) and the teams with capspace are mostly rebuilding. So i think it's a definite possibility for him to stick around at the same amount.
