Re: Dunleavy relieved of his coaching duties/remain as the Clippers GM

Does anyone care? He's still around to cause continuous damage. This one man has done more damage to the organization than all of their years of ineptitude.

Hughes is an extension of Dunleavy, has to be. The only differences I can foresee is him allowing the team to run because that is what they want to do and he needs them to be supportive of him. And, he won't be yelling up and down the sidelines about how many steps to take, when to shoot, etc.

I won't have complete hope for the Clippers UNTIL there is no more Dunleavy. How notorious can one coach be?????

I'm still waiting for CHANGE.

Re: Dunleavy relieved of his coaching duties/remain as the Clippers GM

Come on, this is a good thing! Dunleavy has been an awesome GM since taking over for Baylor, it was his coaching that was atrocious. Hughes isn't going to be the ultimate successor, obviously. But at least Dunleavy finally did the right thing and fired himself. Hopefully the organization (Dunleavy) is smart enough to hire Lucas as his permanent replacement, but we'll see what happens. Word is they're chasing Isaiah Thomas, hard. That one is pretty baffling, but then again, these are the Clippers.
