No doubt they can, however its up to Odom wether he wants to take the Q offer. If he does clipper fans will be greatly dissapointed.
The two other teams intrested in Lamar is Miami and Denver. However the clips will not match Andre Millers offer sheet and denver will take on that salary, that being said the Clips can offer Odom a ton of money (at least) 6 years 60 mill and not be over the cap!
Its all up to Lamar now... common Goods do the right thing.

Yes, they can keep Odom. They can do it and still be under the cap.

Since the Clippers own Odom's Bird Rights, they can go over the cap to sign him if need be.

Great move by the Clips, this guy is so special. Look at his early progress compared to T-Macs. This guy is just waiting to bust out, and if Odom can stay healthy for a full season I'm convinced the Clippers will contend for the playoff void left by the Jazz with Houston and Seattle.

Also, I think it's kind of unfortunate that the Jazz have been used by players for bargaining leverage, but that's the way free agency works . I guess if Utah's management is as good as it's supposed to be they'll be in the playoffs within the next few years again..

Nice to see the NBA has one more competitive team instead of a perennial laughtingstock, though.
