Bobby for Q?

The clippers still lack at PG imo. Would the Clipper fans be willing to let Q go for Booby Jackson? The whole trade (for salary purpose) would be:

Clippers trade: Q (9.4 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.9 apg in 23.2 min)
Chris Wilcox (3.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.5 apg in 10.4 min)

Clippers receives: Bobby (15.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.1 apg in 28.4 min)
Gerald Wallace (4.7 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 0.5 apg in 12.1 min)

Kings trade: Bobby (15.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.1 apg in 28.4 min)
Gerald Wallace (4.7 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 0.5 apg in 12.1 min)

Kings receive: Q (9.4 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.9 apg in 59 games)
Chris Wilcox (3.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.5 apg in 46 games)

TRADE ACCEPTED

Bobby is perfectly capable of running a team effectively. At 6'6 Maggette can play SG while Gerald replaces Odom at the 3. The Clips have Brand and Ely so letting go of Wilcox shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The Kings get Q which can be an effective replacement for Doug off the bench. Wilcox will back-up C-Web.

Does this sound like anything the Clip fans would like or object to? Why?

Hell no... No one question's Jackson's score'n ability... You could question why he couldn't keep a startin job in Denv or Minni... Plus... Givin Wilcox away for an unproven bench player like Wallace would be the biggest mistake... Peace

um, wilcox is pretty unproven, and he spent an awful lot of time on the bench last year...

Um, Wilcox was a 20 year old rookie lottery pick, that displayed a lot of potential.

His trade value is pretty high considering that. If the Clippers traded him for a draft pick, they would be able to get a lottery pick in return.

The same could not be said for Bobby Jackson. Or Gerald Wallace, since when you enter those two players its becomes Wilcox for Wallace.

No dice.

I like the Bobby for Q part, and i wouldnt mind having Wallace. How about we throw Dooling in instead and I say deal. I'd put Jackson at the one and Marko at the three.

RD I wasnt saying anything about the trade just about saying not to trade chris wilcox for an untested bench player when he is in fact one himself, still a stupid trade for the kings thoug
