I like the second option. If Q start that leaves us with almost no bench, and Dooling is quick and altheltic enough the guard the Marbuy's and Kidd's of the league. Jaric has good height and defense and is my number choice to play the three. Ely will be the early season starter at the five whether Kaman overtakes him later that's a different topic. As for Brand at 4 well that's an easy one. Unless Dooling plays horrible I think we should stick with that line-up, if it doesnt work I would go with the first.
Here is how I would do it with our roster as it is now, including back ups
Dooling/Jaric/Hatten
Maggs/Q
Jaric/Q/Fowlkes
Brand/Wilcox
Ely/Kaman/ Zhi Zhi
Q backups up at the 2 & 3, Fowlkes gets like 10 min a game. Hatten gets limited minutes, and I hope House barely touches the floor, same goes for Polynice. With that said thats not a very strong line up so pray for 3 things
1. A trade(hopefully for Bender) 2. Maggette to play out of his mind 3. A high lotto pick
BTW. speaking of Kaman has anyone heard anything about him lately, I havent heard a thing since he's been drafted.
