starting point guard

you go from having no point guards, more or less,to having 2 good ones in jaric and miller.i think miller starts,he's making more money.the two should be able to both play at times and i think you definitely want jaric on the court in crunch time.any thoughts?

Jaric is a package player at 1, 2 or even at 3

Both of the Clipps young PG's are going to be very effective throughout the year, Dre & Marko already have the experience, smarts and leadership the young Clipps will need. Marko will be a tremendous back-up for Dre, both should benefit from each others knowledge and type of playing styles. I wouldn't mind having Jaric out on the floor during crunch time or when the game is on the line, Word is....in Europe he was known to come through during the clutch & is considered the best PG. The scouting report on Jaric....
is that he plays tough Defense and knows how to use his body against the bigger players, look for him to match up against any SF's as well, He also loves to push the ball & has the knack for the Rim, He's a decent perimeter shooter from the Arc and around the field as well, he has good size at 6'6, he'll match up well against the other 1's & 2 's in the league, He just needs the full NBA experience now, and why not start with the NBA's assist leader and premier PG in DreDay

I personally am as big a Dooling fan as their as, and I am still confident he'll be a fine NBA player.

But the problem with him is that he hasn't gotten the chance to show his skills to it's fullest extent because of a couple reasons. He was raw entering the NBA, and needed some time to learn. So he sat behind Jeff McInnis his rookie year to develop a bit. Then his 2nd year, he was ready to take on a bigger role, and he showed some improved skills from his rookie year. Then the biggest reasons his future is in doubt - The ankle injury. It kept him out virtually the entire year, and he had another injury to it this summer, so he hasn't had time to really improve his skills.

I still like his future with the Clips. I think he's the perfect complement as a backup PG to Miller. He's the complete opposite of Miller. He is flashy, ultra athletic, and loves to finish for himself. He gives the Clips the best of both worlds - They have every skill and physical attribute you want and need in a PG with both of those guys.

But that can only happen when Dooling gets healthy. Hopefully it's soon so he doesn't get pushed way down behind Miller and Jaric.
