That's a great question. SOme might think they are. I don't. The Lakers without Shaq are bad, actually horrible, but they still aren't quite as bad as the Warriors, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Heat, or Knicks. However, you can't help but notice something. That is: every team that is currently worse than the LA Lakers, asides from the Heat and Knicks, have lots have good young talent. So to make a long story short: When Shaq retires, the Lakers become the 98-99 to 2001-2002 Bulls. I don't care how good Kobe is, he's still no McGrady or KG when it comes to leading a team. So congratulations on your 3-peat Laker fans. It all ends soon, probably this year.
