Re: Jordan Interview on 570
Jordan is going to wear the number 5! This kid is going to be a steal... He knows how to play D and I honestly belive he can slow down those nash's and kidd's and parker's in the league.

Re: Jordan Interview on 570
i think phil will try and give him some minutes... seems like this guy really wants to play, and he already has a good foundation. if he gets at least 15 minutes a game next year, i wont complain. btw, check out this article about him. he's only 19 but it seems like he's got the poise to be an NBA player. the 42" vertical doesn't hurt either.

Re: Jordan Interview on 570
well, i think his dad advised him to dress up... but he still did it, and he still wore his suit even when it got hot... that at least says that he's willing to impress the teams holding out for him. is he possibly our best draft since (wait, can't remember back that far)

Re: Jordan Interview on 570
Come on guys... Farmar was my first choice after Carney got drafted at 16, but some of you are taking it too far.
I expect him to play 10 mpg next year, basically the same minutes Pargo got as a rookie, but more consistent playing time.
I expect him to be a starter level PG, and at the very least a 6'2" Tyronn Lue, but some of you are talking him up as a future all-star.

You're expectations are way too low...

Tyronn Lue is a decent player and a proven double figure scorer. I said that's the WORST I see Farmar being, which would be outstanding considering he was a 26th pick.
Sorry if I'm not expecting all-star games.

Re: Jordan Interview on 570
Farmar is going to be great. This pick was definitely a steal.
However, Phil is a very stubborn coach and I don't see his mentality on rookies changing anytime soon. I would be thrilled if Farmar got anywhere near 15 minutes a game next year.

Re: Jordan Interview on 570
A great PG doesn't have to become an All-Star or put up that type of numbers, but it doesn't mean that we are unreasonable to believe that Farmar has the IQ and intangibles that Smush Parker just did not provide this past season.

Re: Jordan Interview on 570
If he shoots better than Smush and can pick up the offense early on, I say we start him.
