I love Pat Riley, even when he was coaching the Knicks and the Alonzo Mourning era Miami Heat, his passion and knack for hard nosed, old school defense is really fun to watch. As for who is the overall better coach it has to be Phil Jackson.

not that i think it discredits phil in any way (he's still better than pat in my opinion, but what do i know).. but del harris (who coached the lakers so poorly) didn't have a fully blossomed laker squad. kobe was still on the rise...

for the bulls, im not even sure if doug had pippen there with him at that time...
