Bynum working with Kareem
Press Enterprise: Bynum blocked two shots Tuesday, one when he came from the weak side.
Bynum said he has worked with special assistant Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on shot-blocking drills. Abdul-Jabbar has Bynum start on the baseline away from the ball. Then a player drives to the basket and attacks Bynum. The idea is for Bynum to block the shot without committing a foul.
"It was pretty much a routine play from practice," he said.

Re: Bynum working with Kareem
This is the part of his game that I think he has the most promise to become Great. He has incredibly long arms, and decent timing. Not knocking the rest of his game, but being able to block shots can keep him on the floor THIS season.

Re: Bynum working with Kareem
Shady, weakside blocking is when the ball is on one side of the court and youre on the other and when youre teammate needs help guarding his guy you run over and block that guys shot.

Re: Bynum working with Kareem
There's no other retiered big man better then Cap to work with.
Maybe Sir Charles....but I think Bynum knows some good places to eat. All honesty, I wanted him to slip big time to the Heat in the '05 draft. I really hope he turns into something.
