Re: This got me excited
As a Lakers fan I see that as a very positive article except for the part about Vlad Rad not giving us much. It views things in its most optimistic ligt.
We have a few more answers but also still too many questions. Someone not a fan of the team that looked at things realisitically could write a totally different article.

Re: This got me excited
I particularly liked the part about Odom. He even said himself it would take him almost a year to get comfortable with the triangle.

Yea that was a great piece. Kwame and Lamar are going to be the keys this season.

Re: This got me excited
Man, this is getting me really excited. I cannot wait till season starts. I believe Smush is going to tear it up this year. Not all-star tear it up but with one full season under his belt he is going to do some big things. And even though he struggled in the playoffs, he still hit that huge shot and made that steal that set-up Kobe's game-tying lay-up and then ultimately unforgettable jump shot.
And we all need to try our best to vote Odom into the all-star game because he deserves it with the stuff he had to deal with this Summer. I bet he is going to play even more inspired ball.
Great post elcap15!!

he was speaking about Vlad's fantasy value. Which isn't much outside of some 3's.

Yeah I dig but seems like he was alittle down on Vlad. I really don't know what kinda boosts Vlad gives us. I usually have a feel for such things. I really hope he has some other parts to his game that can be a pleasant surprise or he'll just be a jumpshooting sub for Walton when Luke isn't making shots.

I feel the same way. I dont know how to feel abou this guy. I basically hated him when he was in seatle. HE is 6' 10" and didnt rebound. However, when he got to LA last season, and out of the cespool that is seatle basketball, his rebounding increased almost 1.5 RPG. I think if he is utilized better and has a coach (the Zen Master) that can motivate him, he can flourish in this system.
Also, he is a killer threat from downtown. He shot better from downtown (41.8%) with the Clips than he did from the field. (41.7%) Ok the difference is negligable but that is still pretty interesting. He will space the floor nicely witht the Lakers and make teams pay for double teams.

Re: This got me excited
^^^
About Radman not reboudning, its okay, as long as we have Lamar on this team will stay one of the betetr rebounding teams in the league, just look at the pas two years.
