Mihm out 5-8 months
Just saw it on the lakers pregame show right now. He has to get another surgery.
wow, just wow. that really sucks for chris, and all this from.. an ankle sprain? damn, he won't even have stock value for a trade.
kwame isn't ready either, they say he won't be playing the next two games at the very least.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
That pretty much means he will miss the entire season. I wonder what GM will offer him more than the the MLE?

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
blah, we can still trade him to a team that's trying to clear up cap space.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
He's still an expiring contract. Maybe trading him to Boston for Delonte West would be a good trade. That way, we could let go of Sasha Vujacic and eventually groom Farmar and West as the PG's.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
blah we just extended sasha.. how can we let him go?
salaries don't match up, and boston isn't clearing up much cap space too.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
If Utah falls out of the playoff race, (not likely) maybe they would trade Fisher for Mihm and Mckie's expiring contracts.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
What the hell, that means he is going to miss a year of basketball on a freaking ankle sprain???
Who would know that that ill-fated game against the sonics was likely his last as a Laker.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
fisher for 6 million? no thanks, he's too old now. i don't think buss would like that.
btw, espn is slow or they don't like letting out info that might hurt their ratings. on fsw, they have already announced that rip isn't playing. on espn, they are saying he "might" be out.

The weird thing is that he actually came back and played in the last game of the regular season and hasn't been seen since.

He has plenty of value to trade. His contract comes off the books and its 5 million aid for a team that needs it. Pack him with Mckie and thats 7 million in expiring to work with.
That was all I expected from Mihm this season, hopefully he wont let me down in that reguard.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
yeah, i don't want to mention KG, BUT... if the wolves are tanking it towards the end of the season..
we could trade mihm, mckie, and odom for KG... with the guys they'd be getting, they would have a good chance at landing the the 1st pick.

Re: Mihm out 5-8 months
He has value, but knowing Mitch, he will trade Mihm for a 2nd round pick.
