Re: Kevin Garnett Thread # 100

twolves are 3-6. if they are nowhere near where they hope to be (playoff bound) by the trade deadline, KG may very well be gone.

Am I getting deja vu? Because all this sounds very familiar.

Re: Kevin Garnett Thread # 100

The deal would have to include Odom and Bynum. Odom and change is not going to get Kevin Garnett. Honestly, I think the Lakers would probably be better of staying pat, but the KB+KG combo is mighty tempting.

Ah well it was worth a shot to try to make one of the two rivals for my team worse.

I dont think we need to get rid of Bynum, Odom + Kwame + fillers should do the trick.

Re: Kevin Garnett Thread # 100

I wouldn't do it because Bynum's impact will be more important throughout his career in the playoffs will be better than Garnett (which isn't saying much). Bynum has a chance to be a game changing big man. I wouldn't do it. This team can make the Finals with a healthy Kobe, Kwame, Radman, an improving Bynum & Turiaf, Odom, Walton, Evans, Cook and hopefully an improving Farmar.

If we could trade McKie, Smush and Mihm for Mo Williams, we'd be a force to be reckoned with.

G - Mo Williams/Jordan Farmar
G - Kobe/Maurice Evans
F - Vlad Radman/Luke Walton
F - Lamar Odom/Brian Cook/Ronny Turiaf
C - Andrew Bynum/Kwame Brown

A year from now, that's a 55 win team.

Huh? 11 guys who would be good players on this roster? I disagree. Mo Williams would shore up the PG spot and the Lakers are set everywhere else.

McKie and Mihm are done with the Lakers (just expiring contracts), so it's basically Mo for Smush. I'd do that deal all day, every day.

It gives the Bucks enough room to sign Billups too, if they are looking to do that.

Re: Kevin Garnett Thread # 100

I dont know how I feel about all this trade talk. KG would be awesome to have, but at what expense? He is getting older and would need to learn to play with Kobe in a new system. My mouth waters over hearing about KG and KB together, but if there is no one else on the floor to play with them, what does it matter?

I am torn. I dont know what would be better for the team.???

Yep, and honestly I wouldn't wanna give farmar, bynum, pick for KG... even though I'd love to... I am just so lost, I want to but dont want to at the same time... its weird.

PS. The way Odom is playing, why give him up? Give Odom till all star break atleast... the man is doing wonders.
