Sweetney / Duhon > Bynum / Farmar

.... and have a better future too.

Re: Sweetney / Duhon > Bynum / Farmar

Duhon is probably better than Farmar right now, and it's at least debatable that he could be better in the future. That's OK, but once you throw in Bynum and Sweetney it's idiotic. Sweetney's a Grade A bust, Bynum is a Grade A future all-star at least. Bynum is special, and to be honest none of the other four players in this discussion is even significant in the future in comparison to him.

The man doesn't know the difference between wait/weight. Ignore the post.

Re: Sweetney / Duhon > Bynum / Farmar

I would keep Bynum over Pau Gasol. I like the Lakers having athletes at the bigs.

I'm guessing Bynum makes a name for himself in the playoffs this year!!! This kid can play and has passion for a big man!!! He is going to turn some heads come playoff time. People will be talking about Kobe's supporting cast this year.

Re: Sweetney / Duhon > Bynum / Farmar

Bynum in 3 yrs> Duhon + Sweetney. Lakers have a great future center if you train him right, he's got a great body for center, with a nice touch around the basket. Just needs to turn some fat into muscle and gain some speed in him, and he could be a dominant low post scorer for years to come

Sadly Bynum will have to impove his upper body strength before we can see a consistent all star effort for him. He can block, I'll give him that, but he can't body up anybody.

Im not attacking you or trying to offend you, but I just wanted to say that I find it odd that you value you Kawme browns abilities so much in other threads, but say Bynum hasnt arrived yet? Bynum has clearly played better basketball than Kawme has this year, and he is only 19 years old.

I dont care about that "Good" game he had vs duncan, etc. Kawme cant rebound, and cant score most of the time to save his life. He cant even make a simple dunk when he is wide open, instead he tries to lay it up to strong and the ball goes flying.

Bynum is only going to get better and right now deserves to be the starting center. If he improved this much over one season, its scary to think about two or three seasons down the road.
