Yeah, I highly doubt #23 will be worn by Kobe. Isn't there some kind of fine for each day he wears a retired jersey number?
I would much rather see him as #8 anyway (and maybe rock the puffball fro again too, if his hairline permits)

He would NEVER hear the end of it if he missed a game winnign shot, play liked crap etc etc wearing #23. Plus, unless he is stuck up way past our grips he wouldnt ask to wear 23.

IMO, nobody in the league regardless of team should be allowed to wear #23.

Kobe is stuck with #24 for another 2 years I believe. Anytime you get a new jersey number, you have to stick with that for 3 years until you can change your number.
