My question to you guys is why does Kobe wnat to be traded? Well, there are two reasons:

1) Kobe wants to be traded b/c he actully wants to win, like he suggests.

OR

2) He wants the limelight. In other words, the media attn would be all over him, and it'd him crazily with his marketablilty status, kinda like when Shaq got traded, thats all the media talkeda bout that summer and that season, "how will shaq fair in miami" etc., you'll hear the exact same thing no matter where Kobe goes, whether the Bulls or the Bobcats(Which is not gona happen). His jersey sales would be #1 thats for sure (like shaqs first year in miami). I bleive they were number one this year, but that was just b/c he changed his number, if he stays on the lakers his jersy sales wont be tops again, now im not saying he wants to be traded b/c he's soley concerned about his jersey sales, but b/c it'd help him in a business stand point and he figures he's not really going far right now with the lakers not makin any moves.

It's almost pointless for him to go to NY, b/c he wants to win, i guess he could win there b/c the east is weak, but overall hes not a ton better off their, even though he would have possibly marbury/curry.

what do you guys think, which is the reason he wants to be traded??
