BS Report: Great Listen about Kobe and league in general

http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/...st&id=2912030#

Simmons and Bucher start talking about Kobe at the 20:52 mark.

Some highlights:

- League is turning more into a business where everyone cares about having a competitive team while making big money, rather then doing whatever it takes to win, like the day with Jerry West, etc. with signing Shaq.
- 0% chance Kobe will be in a Lakers uniform next season, whether it be a trade or he sits out.
- Kobe is a better "employee" then Jordan, just doesn't have the type of persona where he can hide that all he wants to do to win, and will do whatever it takes to win.
- Talks about what's going on behind the scenes in the Lakers front office, with Jim Buss being everything what's wrong with the Lakers organization.
- Drafting Bynum huge slap in Kobe's face
- Major reason why Kobe wants to leave is because of what Wade and Lebron did the previous two seasons making the Finals.

Agreed. Hopefully Jerry does what's good for the franchise and somehow, someway chooses someone else to lead the franchise (like that will ever happen). The Lakers are going to be in deep trouble for a very long time... unless Jim can get very lucky (that may not even be enough) in getting good draft picks, good trade deals etc.

I also believe I've been way too critical on Kupchak, and Jimmy is the main reason for all these bad deals/deals to never happen.

Kobe sitting out? I could understand wanting out from this team, but sitting out? I would lose a lot of respect from this guy, if he does that.

Man, there's no "Strength or Honor" in sitting out Kobe.

Doesn't make it right. Having said that, I don't think he will sit out or even pull a Vince Carter. He's just doing anything he can to get out.

Yep. Kobe's bluffing the ultimate bluffer. It'll be an intereseting off season for the Lakers. Kobe has already lashed out in public, and did it again with less class with this supposed Kobe Video coming out.

Kobe's Bi polar personality is just pissing the hell out of me. I read somewhere that he does'nt want Lamar traded, but I was like "Yo Kobe, WTF, why do you care who gets traded, if you're leaving anyway?"

If the Lakers want to force Kobe to stay, just trade for Jermaine.

Trade for JO and do a sign and trade with Walton for Artest. Kobe, JO, Artest, that would be so badass but freaken Indiana wants Odom and Bynum. If we can just give them Odom we might be able to get Artest for Walton and Bynum. But this is all wishful thinking. Kobe, you were my hero. How could you turn on all the fans of LA like this......... : (

More like how can the front office turn on all the fans of LA, more so how can we have Jim Buss as the head of the organization.
