Remember that "Kobe Video?" A low budget parking lot flick (and now a virtual gold mine of a domain name just waiting to be purchased) starring Kobe Bryant calling for the trade of Andrew Bynum? Well, those two crazy kids are now loving each other's company. Bynum's also averaging close to a double-double and that 10.9/9.7 comes with an improved focus, work ethic and assertiveness. Coincidence? We think not. Drew's getting props from his coach (more than Vlad Rad, at any rate), but more importantly, The New Jack Bauer is in his corner, an important development both on and off the court. The Kid's hardly reached a point where he can rest on any laurels, but his solid contributions have no doubt been a huge chapter in this team's 20-game story. He's also a factor in the Lakers being a top 10 hit with the good folks over at cbssportsline.com.
Whether money is the root of all evil can be debated, but it's definitely the root of any deficiencies in the Phoenix Suns' blueprint.
