Re: Stop Da Luke Hate
He's an overpaid system player that offers nothing in defense and is generally useless if his shot isn't dropping. I wish we didn't resign him or traded his *** but that doesn't mean I hate him. I just don't want him on the team or getting any minutes.

Re: Stop Da Luke Hate
I kissed Luke *** all last year
And as he sucks most of the games this year, I have all the right to barried his ***
And he sucks right after his big contract and with the acting thing that he's done last summer..., I point at his these events for his failure

Re: Stop Da Luke Hate
I always liked Luke...and still do. However, he is on my sh**list this season. His game has gone backwards since last season. I cannot see a single facit of his game that has improved. I can't even remember the last time I saw him make two consecutive free throws! Hate is not the correct word...just extreme disappointment.

Re: Stop Da Luke Hate
I've tried not to be too tough on him this year. He's having a bad season, well a very, very bad season. But, I'm not going to tear the guy apart for it. He didn't all of the sudden forget how to play basketball, he just needs to have a few good games to get his confidence back. My main gripe is that his defense has been horrible.

Re: Stop Da Luke Hate
There are currently 3 other players playing extremely comfortable in their respective roles. He's obviously not going anywhere because he has a unattractive contract, unless Mitch pulls another rabbit off his hat, he'll be a Laker for quite a while. So lets just face the music and hopes he does a good job cheering at the bench.
Luke's going through a phase right now where he needs an ample amount of playing time to get a feel for the system again. And I dont know if thats possible. Going into the second half, where every team positions itself for a playoff spot, minutes for a guy who doesnt really do something particularly well, will be harder to come by.
I like Luke and Im one of those fans who has sentimental values and keep loyalties for long time Laker players with a positive attitude, and Luke certainly fits that criteria, but I just cant justify his existence in this team any longer after Ive seen how good a rotation of Ariza,Odom and Radmanovic can be.

Re: Stop Da Luke Hate
I've already predicted that Luke will play much, much better after the All-Star break. Watch out, Atlanta! On Tuesday night, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when Lukeamania runs wild on YOU?!

apparently some lakers fans have sort of hate against white ball players or simply players with white man skills. look at madsen, penberthy, sasha, medvedenko, cook and luke.
|
GTFOOH. Madsen was loved when he was here. He was a pure hustle player and greatly appreciated. Sasha, the jury is still out.
But you have the audacity to bring up Slava Medvedenko?! Slava WAS GARBAGE. Just an awful player who contributed nothing to the team.
You forgot Mihm, by the way. He's garbage too.

Mihm wasn't garbage when he was healthy. He was a solid center for us.
Slava was the greatest of them all. He has solid interior defense:
