There is a silver lining (damnit)!!!!!
Ok...im trying to find it, here it goes, bear with me...
Kwame Brown played great in the PHX series when we took them to 7 games. That was his 1st year in LA which included his 1st full season in the triangle offense. IMO it seems like players that came to LA seem to be better after 3/4 of a season so they can stop thinking out every play of the triangle and just do it instead. After that season I know that held true for Odom and Kwame.
The next season I was excited about the possibility of Kwame actually "getting it" and maybe it was a change of scenery that he needed. We all know how that season went for him..bad play and KILLED by injuries. At the beginning of this season he has been held back by multiple injuries too which leads me to this SILVER LINING...
These 2+ months will be the first since that PHX series that all of these will be true A) Be healthy B)Understand the offense C)Constantly get starter minutes. Do you guys remember how he was actually kicking *** the last 1/4 of his first season. It could happen....takers? anybody? (crickets)

Right now, I have no hope, either. It's really frustrating to see a man built like him, with some speed and athleticism, get to the basket many times in the course of a game, and continually miss layup after layup after layup (and sometimes, dunks).

lol
I play the role of optimist every once in a while, but not with Kwame. Any boost given is a bonus and should be viewed as such. Keep the expectations away.

I dont know why you guys are giving up on Kwame. He's not a bad player. He saved us with that clutch FT shot against Memphis Grizzlies.
He just needs some more time. He's young, big and has potential. Lets not bash Kwame anymore. Lets believe in him, like you believe in Kobe.

If there's any player on this team that deserves criticism its Luke Walton. All he does is stand there, look ugly and play no defense.

Re: There is a silver lining (damnit)!!!!!
The silver lining is we have the best record in the Paficif Division and have become a legitimate contender with Bynum.
All we have to do is wait till Bynum recovers and don't rush him.
If he gets back in 3 months(12 weeks) then God let him!!! Don't rush the kid, he is our future and our future is bright with him healthy, not hobbling around at 20 years old.
When the kid comes back we suprise everyone again and take the title.
Sometimes things work out for the best!

Re: There is a silver lining (damnit)!!!!!
The only silver lining here is Bynum will be out 8 weeks and not the whole season.
Kwame needs to just rebound and play defense!
