Seedings: #1, #2, or #3?
what seeding is ideal?
who do you want to see in rd. 1?
who do you want to avoid in rd. 1?
keep in mind, a 2 or 3 seed will probably mean a 2nd round match-up with SA. if we could push the spurs to 3, they might get the suns in rd 1 instead of us. get the 1 seed and not face NO/SA/Phx/or Dal possibly until conference finals. like most lakers fans, i think bynum could use a series to get back into gear, say maybe houston, or denver. then face some of the teams w/ more size like phx, SA, Utah, in the next rd. still a lot of jockeying left in the last 2 weeks of the season.
thoughts w/ 5 left?

It's so tight this year, I honestly don't even care. I have faith in this Lakers team and I know that they can get the job done.

without bynum, phoenix might just wear us down.. even if he is back, he won't be 100%

Re: Seedings: #1, #2, or #3?
the objective should be to win all of our games. There are no gimme opponents this year, so homecourt should be our objective. That said, if we can not have to see NOH or SA until the WCF, that would be lovely.

Re: Seedings: #1, #2, or #3?
Teams I'd love to see in the first round:
Denver (Eh)
Golden State (We seem to have their number for the most part when healthy.. Even when not)
Dallas (Soft)
Teams I'd neutral to seeing in the first round:
Houston (Theres no reason we shouldnt kill em, but Battiers defense on Kobe scares me sometimes. But if Bynums back, it wont matter).
Utah (Good home team, but they get rattled easy. Healthy, we should be fine)
Suns (This is do or die, with this team. Motivation helps. Shaq loves to rise to some ocasions. Need Bynum for this one as well).
New Orleans
Team I'd rather see later or not at all.
Spurs (Unless Bynum is 100 percent, Spurs stills care me. Lots of clutch players. High IQ, penetrating guard, amazing defense).
Either way if the Lakers are 100 percent, or close to it going into the playoffs no team really scares me. Although Boston's hype has gotten to me a little.

Fully healthy, the only team that really scares me is Boston. The Spurs are always a tough out but i think we can take them.

I want the Lakers to have the number one seed.
I believe we have the Mavs/Nuggets/Warriors number.

Re: Seedings: #1, #2, or #3?
I dont really think we should be worried about any team besides the Spurs. The rest of the team I think we can handle with or without bynum. But with the spurs, I just think we need bynum to make it easier on us. We can still beat the spurs without bynum, but it wont be easy.

Re: Seedings: #1, #2, or #3?
I'm worried about Spurs and Hornets.
Paul can score at will on Fisher and Farmer.

Re: Seedings: #1, #2, or #3?
We need to get the 2 seed at least so we have homecourt if we play the Spurs.

but wouldn't it be nice to see phx get utah or san antone in the first round if we can grab the 2nd spot? maybe the spurs get dallas and the jazz get the suns, andwe get houston at the 3.
