A win over the spurs would really solidify a 2nd seed for sure, possibly 1st if the Hornets loose either at sac or dallas.

Win or lose I dont think it would do Dallas any good or harm in their last game against the Hornets, I expect the Kings to be a spoiler for both the Lakers and Hornets though. Normally those teams who have nothing to lose plays their best a few games before they go on vacation, and the Kings are certainly a very good team when everything clicks.


I think Spurs' may be without Manu this Sunday. Thats a huge break for us if he's not going to play. But personally, this is the time where the Lakers' should beat all playoff teams in full strength. I want them to get accustomed with this confidence and continue their momentum before the playoffs kicks in full gear.

Agree with you on the Kings, but I think the lakers are gonna ride this wave that they are on right now after tonights win, and win out. I think the lakers will take care of the kings at home, but maybe the kings upset the Hornets at home. But you never know, Dallas might just play to win against the Hornets. I dont think they want to make the same mistake that they made last year with the warriors. if they end up 7th which it looks like they might, they just might have to play the Hornets and they are not going to just give that game up.

Thats actually a good point about Dallas. You're absolutely right. I dont think they can afford to be lax with the possibility of meeting the Hornets in the playoffs. I think if anything they'll try to drag the Hornets to 2nd seed and face them rather than meet the Lakers in the first round.

We need to beat out the Spurs for the 2nd seed. I don't want to play the Suns in the first round, and I don't want to play the Spurs without HCA.
