Bryant says he has no desire to leave Lakers
Yahoo: Kobe Bryant made clear Monday what’s been, at the very least, a bit ambiguous for nearly a year: He wants to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers and is open to finishing his career with them.
“Absolutely,” Bryant said the day after the Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets 128-114 in their playoff series opener. “I’ve always wanted to be here. I just felt like I was in a position where I didn’t really have a choice. They wanted to go in an opposite direction. My legs aren’t as young as they used to be. Just let me know.
“I love the weather. I love my ‘63 drop-top Impala. I love the 405 (freeway). I love my guys.”
Bryant acknowledged he wouldn’t have imagined things would have turned out this way late last May, when he publicly called the Lakers’ front office a mess and demanded a trade, feeling he had been misled when he signed a seven-year, $136.4 million contract in July 2004. The Lakers haven’t won a playoff series since.
“I’ve been sitting on this for four years now,” he said. “After three or four years of not getting anything done, to see it today, it feels pretty damn good. It’s been a hell of a ride.”

well Portland with Oden healthy might be better option, but I agree with the sentiment

^are you ****ing serious. POR?!? Sure...if the Lakers ask for only J.Jack in return and POR fans forget how much they hate Kobe then yeah, wonderful. After that we could "Nancy Kerrigan" Fisher so we can get a medical waiver to sign somebody else....Brilliant!

Portland and the Celtics are the only other franchises I see that are even close.
Boston is getting old so their window is closing where ours is just opening.
POR is hard to say since Oden has had a major knee surgery without ever playing an NBA game, but still I think we are more talented. Kobe > Roy, Pau > LMA, Bynum ?=? Oden, Lamar > whoever.

Re: Bryant says he has no desire to leave Lakers
Oh good, what a relief! I wasn't so sure after Sunday's victory.

are you just following me around as a troll, or do you really believe that Portland doesn't have very promising future?
I was responding to a post with regards to the most promising team over the next decade.
But if you want to be a troll, I'll follow you around make ******* comments directed at you too

Re: Bryant says he has no desire to leave Lakers
Oden/Frye
Aldridge
Webster/Outlaw
Roy
Rodriguez/Jack
that's a good team for the next decade and also the youngest core in the league

Yeah, there is something called contract matching Einstien, look into it
....and no, I dont like you at all ever since you honestly wished for Fisher to have a career ending injury

Re: Bryant says he has no desire to leave Lakers
It's hard to say how Portland will look. I hope that Oden and Bynum heal well this offseason so we can see them battle it out next season.

Since when did I talk about a trade ? I simply said Portland will compete with the Lakers for having the promising future for the next ten years (in reference to the comment about the Lakers having the best future for the next decade)
don't get your panties in a bunch just because you are in love with Fisher and Luke Walton, maybe you can give Fisher a wraparound the next time you see him while you cry about mean comments people make about him
