Supposedly there is a chance to get Ron for the MLE or right around that which amazes me...Assuming that is true and both players get the same amount of money who would you rather have, Ariza or Artest?

I dont think this is even a question but evidently other people dont feel the same so I want to see...

For the same price, I would choose Ariza for this particular team even though Artest is obviously the better player. In another thread, someone suggested bringing Artest to LA to look around and let the press catch wind of it. Ariza really helped put us over the top, but there needs to be smart business after the Luke and Sasha contracts.

I think I would not mind either one.

I just know that Artest will be the same where ever he goes while I believe that Ariza was only good in our system.

if ariza wants to go, i say let him go. looks artest will be free now, since houston is only offering him a 1 year contract. artest is a better man defender (to lock down guys like lebron, paul pierce, etc). trevor is good, but he's only played at this level for 1 year. artest has done it longer.

you just said on the other thread it makes you want to stop being a laker fan for this reason.

anyway, id honestly prefer ariza, but since it came down to this, im not going to knock my head on the wall. seems to be a good move either way.
