Re: Sessions Hopes to Return to Lakers
I don't think Sessions is their top priority this offseason. Some pieces will have to be decided on before his situation gets ironed out.

Re: Sessions Hopes to Return to Lakers
I agree. He's decent but we should really be exploring other options.

They also need to let him run some more. His style of play isn't for the game to be slowed down.

Re: Sessions Hopes to Return to Lakers
Sessions has one...it's just not very good. Needs some tweaking. Steve Blake doesn't strike me as the type of player who's about to add a floater to his arsenal.

Re: Sessions Hopes to Return to Lakers
I mean....Sessions is an okay stop-gap for the time being, as long as you don't have to overpay him and you can't get anyone better. There's a reason he's bounced around the league so much, though, and a huge part of the blow-up over him this past year was just because it had been so long since the Lakers had a point guard who was good at point guard things. There are other free agents out there better than him, it all depends on how much money they'd want.

Re: Sessions Hopes to Return to Lakers
As much as people want to gripe over Fisher's loss (at least the casual fan, internet is a bit different), Sessions really was a dramatic improvement. Would I like a better point guard? Of course, I am a big time believer in Deron Williams and think he's arguably the best point guard in the league, and has shown himself to be the best playmaker in a half-court offense of the big names (especially in a motion offense as opposed to one predicated on pick & rolls and penetration from the PG). That said, at least Sessions makes sure the PG spot is no longer a massive weakness.
