As long as he doesn't shoot a lot of threes, it's a nice pick-up.

Re: C.J. Miles Drawing Interest From Lakers?

For the min he would be ok, but if we are going to spend the mmle I would rather try Barbosa or even Meeks first.

It would be a good signing, but it would be better if Ebanks hadn't already signed a one-year...

Re: C.J. Miles Drawing Interest From Lakers?

we need a perimeter defender who can hit a three - he's the opposite

Re: C.J. Miles Drawing Interest From Lakers?

C.J. can hit threes. Admittedly, he's not a great shooter, but he'd be a huge upgrade on our bench and instantly the 8th best player on the team.

Blake/Miles/Jamison/Hill is a bench we can live with. Hell, maybe we get really lucky and either Goudelock or Ebanks actually turns into a decent player as well.

Re: C.J. Miles Drawing Interest From Lakers?

CJ is a pretty good defender. He is a good energy guy too which we need.

Im still with most of you guys though, Id like to see a long range specialist, preferably one who can play defense. Of course that is no surprise, its a nice piece for any team.

You can't expect to get the perfect player everytime. Especially when you can't offer what other teams can. If Miles can fill just one of our needs for the min. its a good deal.

Remember, there are some really fast teams out there. It would help just to have the athleticism. Now that Kobe is getting older, we can use a penetrator. Miles can get in close and make some short jumpers. He has good height for a SG.
