Who else is going to come off the bench for the Lakers? Meeks? Odom's wife? I mean seriously, they have zero depth and you guys are poo pooing a guy who is a tenacious defender and a great spot up 3pt shooter who knows the system inside and out? They should trade Artest for Marion though.

He also has issues with Jordan Hill (they reportedly did not get along when both were with the Knicks). I was really concerned that the bad feelings between the two would continue and now it appears that's what's happening.

Although I was heartened to see Hill get his minutes in against the Pelicans. Pringles really does need to let bygones be bygones and move forward with the personnel he has.

Meeks, Tawn and Hill are all superior to Bell.

So he should be a 9th man at best.

Phil had a rep of not liking post dominant big men. So he coaches the championship team that was most dependent on one player in league history.

Phil had a rep of not liking small guards. So he turned Derek Fisher and Lindsey Hunter into his 3rd leading scorers in different seasons.

Phil adapts, not look for mediocre players to replace more talented ones.
