Another person that becomes famous and think they rule the world. In his case I think it's a mix of having a legit mental problem and being ignorant. Where's his mom, dad, or any type of mentor figure to slap some sense into him? It seems like that's what he needs the most even though he probably told all potential mentors that he knows everything.

These guys jump straight into the league out of HS or college. Most of them never worked or dealt with a single customer, and all they do is train. When their life experience is mostly based on being the big man on campus, it's no wonder many of them turn out to be assholes.
It's no mental problem, it's upbringing. Children are born pricks who learn to behave better as they grow up. Bynum (and many athletes) is a prick because he's never really had to integrate into society like the rest of us. All he has to do is train and play ball. You don't need people skills to play center.
