Is Nwamba a keeper?

I love this kid.

He can guard three positions and doesn't take a play off. He can handle the ball and goes straight to the rim everytime, and is a great rebounder and shot blocker for a guard. He's outplayed Deng this year. These are the type of young role players I want on this roster!

I sort of feel like the new management is trying to determine if they want to explore trading Russell or JC this summer with the constant lineup changes.

And you actually think that. Like you honestly, truely believe that.

That is why I'm done posting on here. You're an idiot. So many of you are just delusional morons that it makes this place unpostable.

I came here to check in on fantasy league and made the mistake to look around again.
R-stars opinion on a Hill, Nash and 1st for Hibbert rumor

Re: Is Nwamba a keeper?

I wouldn't mind keeping him around. We need guys that get after it defensively. He's got Tony Allen type potential. In terms of trading Russell or JC, I wouldn't mind shopping JC. Especially if we keep our pick and draft Ball. To me, JC has been a bit disappointing this year. Offensively he's been fine, but he said he was dedicating himself last summer to becoming an elite defender and that hasn't been the case. Russell to me is more of a natural scoring guard. I don't think that is a coincidence that he had his best game playing the 2.

Re: Is Nwamba a keeper?

I'd say yes. He effects the game in enough ways to make up for him being a non-shooter. I mean, at best, he's a fringe rotation guy, but he deserves a shot. At worst, he helps develop our guards by going up against them in practice.

I'd cut our losses with Ennis and take a look at another point guard. Is GP2 available? Another player that can impact the game on the defensive end.

The Los Angeles Lakers and guard David Nwaba are finalizing a two-year deal, league sources tell @TheVertical. Team option for next season.
Good for him!! He's earned it!

Re: Is Nwamba a keeper?

Yes. Every team can use a guy with excellent physical tools who works hard and hustles. If he ever learns how to shoot, he could become a rotation player or even a regular starter. Since he managed to knock down 4 of 16 threes in D-League games, it shows some progress from his college days. His D-League FG% was phenomenal, a sign of just how much he gets to the rim.
