thets just imposible for them to do it again.
shaq is getting weaker/older,less than 10 rib' a game in the season, and dallas is and will be just to good for tham, they are now signing either zo or olowakandy.
theres just no way.
The Mavericks aren't the big challenge to the Lakers repeating next year, the Kings are.
The Mavericks don't have anyone in the middle, which was their achilles heel against the Kings. If the Kings can manhandle the Mavericks with just Vlade in the middle, what do you think the Lakers will do with Shaq?
As for the Mavericks getting either Oly or Zo, I'll have to look into their ability to do that...I would imagine they are already WAY over the cap, but I'll look into it.
im sorry you see it like that, but i think you are very much wrong.
first of all,the only reason, but the only reason that dallas lost like that to sacramento is because the team is very very new and young, they should get some experience, then i believe that they will create a dynesty adlist as big as kobe's an shaq's.
nowitzki is now the best small forward in the league and he will be the in the league.
from dallass personal experience with the lakers on the regular season shaq did have a field day but dallass offense is just that good that they didnt lost in more than 4,it was allways close and in the last game they beated them by 16!!!!
so believe me when i tell you, next year is dallas year, they are just to damn good.
I am going to give you a very good reason why the Mavs will not win it next year and maybe never,
Don Nelson
Nelson does not believe in stopping the opponent, he believes in outscoring them. He has never been a defensive coach, look at his days with the Warriors. He had a very good team but refused to teach defense. In the playoffs defense wins because the intensity goes up and if you don't play any defense in the regular season then you can't play it in the playoffs.
Yep, another reason why the Mavs won't win it is because they suck. Just kidding. But the Lakers are going to win it next year. Some how, they'll pull off a trade to get Qyntel Woods. And sign Keon Clark or someone like that, the Mavs sure as hell won't win anything next year.

Lakers will 4peat. I'm not even worried about the Mavericks. I agree they're good, and will get better. But it won't all happen as fast as one year. I don't even think the Kings are going to do what they did this year again. The Kings are eqaul to a Laker team who was going through the motions, and struggling through. Do you think the Kings had a chance against the 2001 Lakers? No way man! It would've been sweep. I think after this parade, there will be much celebration, but mostly consideration of what needs to be done to get back to that level. Los Angeles realizes you can't go through the motions, and we will probably see the Lakers dominating in the playoffs in 2003. I give the Kings credit. As much as I don't like their character or class, they were a good team. But they showed they can't play the big game, and that will come back to haunt them.
I think that Sacramento will be as good as they were last year. But, I think the Lakers will be better than they were last year. If these two teams meet in the playoffs again, the Lakers will sweep or win in 5.
