Winter, 80, might stick around a bit

Te x Winter, 56 years into a storied coaching career, is not quite ready to call it quits. But he's seriously considering it.

Winter, the 80-year-old triangle offense guru and Lakers assistant coach, continues to weigh retirement but might work one more year. He plans to make a decision this weekend after consulting with coach Phil Jackson and general manager Mitch Kupchak.
