The Lakers first preseason game is this Tuesday! They play the Clippers in Bakersfield...if you live in Southern California, the game will be on KCAL Channel 9!

Does anyone have any predictions?

I'm predicting the Lakers to win, even though they don't have Shaq, only because Richardson, Brand, and Odom are ALL injured for the Clipps.

Kobe will get 23 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists
D-Fish will get 9 points 2 rebounds and 5 assists
K-Rush will get 7 points 3 rebounds and 2 assists
George will get 11 points 4 rebounds and 2 assists
Samaki will get 12 points 8 rebounds and 1 assist
and Guyton will get 5 points 1 rebound and 3 assists

Kobe won't put up GREAT numbers because PJ won't play him much, K-Rush will get to play, but will feel the pressure of his first game and not perform that well. George will play very actively and contribute a lot. Guyton will be quiet, but good. Fisher won't take that many shots, and his 9 points will be made up of 3 3 pointers, and Samaki will play very well inside, helping with scoring and the boards.

Those are my (far too in depth) predictions!

You might be right for the reason you listed but I think the clips will win because Kobe will get limited playing time and ......are you ready for this?..............There will be no answer for the Kandi Man..

I'm curious to see Krush play, I know it will be his first game and he might feel some pressure, but I'd like to see how he comes out, They say he's a pure shooter with fine skills. I hope Jax will give him some PT during the year. We all know how he doesn't believe in that though.

Predicting preseason games is pretty hard, the better team might not win since the focus isn't really winning. The Lakers have gone 10-14 in preseason games under Phil.

I would like to see a lot of PT for Rush mainly.

Yeah, wins are definitely not the main goal in preseason games.

You want to give your starters rest, but not too much rest. You also want to let the other guys play, but not too much.

Kandiman is out now too. Fox and Stanislav are having back problems and horry went to the ground after a bumped knee. There are going to be more players in street clothes than those suiting up for both teams. This game will probably be very ugly.

I second that..... The list of players who probably wont play (or definetly wont) for the Clips includes - Odom, Q, Kandi, Brand, Dooling, Parks, Wilcox, Stith, and Ely.... all the makings of a great game.... injuries can
