The Kings may have just passed us in terms of talent. Now they can just put Artest on Kobe and let Bibby and Miller run wild on the rest of our team. Hopefully Artest goes nuts and gets kicked of the team because I see the Kings making a strong push at passing the Lakers in the standings.

Jim Gray just on Sportscenter:
Sent to league office pending approval; while it was getting league approval Ron Artest let word to Sacramento and Indiana.. It was then left up to the Kings if they wanted to do it. Because Artest did not want to go, the Kings have decided to end this as of this minute. Will not be any trade. At this point they have rejected this. Pacers are left with Ron Artest. Gonna have to consider suspending him without pay. He asked for trade and now doesnt accept this one. Either suspend him or trade him elsewhere.
Embarrasment for Artest, Pacers have done everything for him, they've stuck by him, been great to him. He wanted traded and now he wont go. Doesnt know what more than can do. Shouldnt be up to Artest to decide where he wants to go though. Will he show up? Etc.? All those teams are shrinking for him.

Report: Initial agreement for trade falls apart
INDIANAPOLIS -- A tentative agreement for a trade that would have sent the Indiana Pacers forward Ron Artest to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Peja Stojakovic has been rejected, ESPN's Jim Gray reported Tuesday.
Gray reported earlier Tuesday that both teams had agreed to the trade, pending league approval. Then, according to Gray, Artest informed both teams he did not want to go to the Kings. In light of that, Gray reported, the Kings have decided to reject the trade.
The undone deal marks yet another chapter in the Pacers' latest drama involving the volatile star forward.
