OT: Phoenix/Dallas Eliminated
I, for one, am thrilled to see Phoenix get knocked out in the first round, even if the Spurs might be a tougher match-up for us.
As for Dallas, I was really rooting for them, but they just couldn't get the job done.
Anyway, I know some Lakers fans wanted to see us play the Suns in WCF and eliminate them ourselves, but this is pretty damn great as well. I get to rub it in my friend's face for a long time now. It's going to be great.

Re: OT: Phoenix/Dallas Eliminated
This was a weird series for laker fans. I hate both the spurs and the suns, but I was rootin for the suns in game 4 cuz I wanted the lakers to be the only team to pull off a sweep, but for game 5 I really didnt care for either team, but the last 2 minutes was interesting to watch.

Re: OT: Phoenix/Dallas Eliminated
i was hoping the suns would make it to game 6 or 7 so they would tire out the spurs
i dont want to get ahead of myself but it's like the lakers vs the spurs in the western conference final and more games those old spurs play, better our chances

Re: OT: Phoenix/Dallas Eliminated
So far it really cant be a better start of the playoffs for the Lakers. Rockets extending/possibly winning the series with the Jazz is great so we can get some rest. Celtics getting tested in the 1st round, NO vs SAS= somebody is losing. I think NO can put up a real fight against the Spurs.
Mavs and Suns being out and there teams in turmoil is awesome

**** the Suns, so good to see them gone by any means necessary. I like how people are still making excuses for Shaq. They are clearly better when he is off of the floor.

Re: OT: Phoenix/Dallas Eliminated
i don't think they're better with him off the floor.
i do see a lot of spacing issues with him on there though.

Re: OT: Phoenix/Dallas Eliminated
Yeah Suns are definitely better without Shaq. They make their runs usually when he is on the bench.
Also good to see D'Antoni possibly gone.
