Definitely. The Yankees are/should be pretty down on themselves. Being up 3-0 then basically being swept by the Sox and give them a shot at the World Series.

The Sox on the other hand have so much confidence against the Yankees now that it will make the rivalry better then ever.

For the first time in our lifetime, the Sox are the ones on top and the Yankees on the bottom. This will heat it up even more then it ever was. And remember, expect a better fight this year then the last two years.

oh yeah it is, and the spankies hate it. I think they'd rather have the Bosox suck than them as the Champs.

It's bigger now....it was a one-sided rivalry before....a lot of Yankees fans said it wasn't even a rivalry because they ALWAYS won well now it's better because we won so now it is a TRUE rivalry and it's hotter than any rivalry in sports and has been for a long time. There is NOTHING better than Yankees vs. Red Sox
