Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
One of the few bright spots to our season has been Mike Fiers. Dude can pitch.

Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
*nervous twitch* Tigers have lost 3 of 4... 2 of 3 to the Indians. And now tonight Toronto had their way with them. Ugh.

Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
An Afraudless YANKEE lineup pounds the bosux 10-3 as Phil Hughes goes a solid seven innings without his best stuff for the win.
CC Sabathia goes for the YANKEES this afternoon in an effort to win the series. |

Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
20 years ago, one of my earlier Braves/MLB memories.
http://vimeo.com/22828913 The Ben Sheets 2.0 experiment continues. 3-0, 0.50 ERA. He's pitched 6.0 IP each appearance. In other words, the guy who signed a Minor League contract after being retired for two years, outpitched the guy who signed a six-year, $144 million contract yesterday. Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
Phillies’ lineup tonight: Eric Kratz hitting .375, Hunter Pence at .267. Everybody else between .256 and .081. Victorino (.256), Utley (.247), Howard (.245), Wigginton (.232), Mayberry (.235), pitcher Joe Blanton (.081).
Ouch. |

Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
This year is really showing us that Justin Verlander truly WAS the MVP last season. Every time his turn came - they KNEW they were going to win. They expected it. And it happened. This year, with him at less than that (still not far off statistically, but the streak-stopping just isn't there) they can't avoid momentum killing losing streaks.

Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
Wow, where has Cincinnati come from? 10 consecutive wins, tied for the same record with the Nationals.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, San Francisco, and L.A. are all tied in the wild card race. |

The "Bosux" take 2 out of 3 from the YANKEES. Doubrant= WIN METHOD. Robertson= LOSE METHOD. We won't see Joke for a few games at least as he tries to live this down.

If you ban him we won't have to hear from him forever... Or until he creates the account 'WINMETHODFAN.'

Re: 2012 Baseball Season Discussion Thread
Yes, but what would we do for comedy without WIN METHOD and its proponent, YANKEES consultant Joke.
